Overview
Construction Savvy Ltd was appointed as Principal Contractor to manage the safe delivery of a high-risk infrastructure upgrade within a live chemical manufacturing facility. The project involved phased demolition of legacy electrical systems, asbestos abatement, and installation of new infrastructure—all while maintaining full operational continuity.

Phase 2: Controlled Demolition & Strip-Out
- Implemented isolation protocols and safe access routes to segregate active zones
- Coordinated asbestos removal with licensed contractors, ensuring timely notifications and air monitoring
- Delivered daily briefings and toolbox talks focused on phase-specific hazards and permit-to-work requirements
Phase 3: Installation & Commissioning
- Sequenced electrical installation to align with commissioning windows and minimise interface risks
- Monitored contractor performance using digital compliance tracking and live progress dashboards
- Conducted phased inspections and readiness reviews prior to handover
Phase 4: Close-Out & Audit Preparation
- Compiled evidence packs including RAMS, permits, inspection records, and contractor certifications
- Facilitated client-side walkthroughs and documentation handover
- Captured lessons learned to inform future phased delivery models on similar high-risk sites
