Challenges
- Integration with existing plant foundations: The new foundation system had to be seamlessly incorporated into the existing structural layout, requiring careful planning and execution.
- Temporary support systems: Multiple temporary supports were designed and installed to maintain the operation of critical infrastructure, including flue stacks, induced draft (ID) fans, and incoming crude gas ducting.
- Live site constraints: All work was carried out within a fully operational industrial environment, demanding precise coordination and safety management.
- Tight tolerances: Millimeter-level accuracy was required for embedded components to align with incoming equipment.

- Conducted detailed structural and site assessments to ensure compatibility with existing foundations.
- Designed and installed bespoke temporary support systems to maintain full functionality of flue stacks, ID fans, and gas ducting throughout construction.
- Used laser-guided surveying and custom formwork to achieve precision placement.
